We want this to be as simple as possible for you, so in plain terms, here's what you can do with the songs you license from ASongParadise:

You will receive permissions to record your vocals to the music tracks we provide you.

Promote your version of our songs on your own website and social media.

Perform, release and sell your version of our songs on iTunes, Amazon, Walmart.com, CDBaby, or wherever you’d like… (We can even help you with that.. just email us).
After your purchase, we will contact you and provide to you the writer's name and publishing info.
You MUST credit the songwriter and any relevant publishing info we supply to you when relevant. (i.e. uploading the song to Spotify, any distribution service, or anywhere that asks for such information). -
You do not own the song. You are licensing the song for use. The writer is still the writer. You are not the writer. (even if you change words to your liking.. you are not the writer.. you are the Artist).
And now.. For The "legal" explanation and exact details of all aspects of the agreement:
This is the License Agreement, which details the rights you have to the original songs you licensed and received from ASONGPARADISE.com. This is a binding legal agreement between the YOU (“Licensee”) and ASONGPARADISE.com. When you agree to these terms and conditions before checkout or download on our website, the Licensee is agreeing to the entire License Agreement.
This License Agreement is made between the purchaser, hereafter referred to as the "LICENSEE" (“You”), and, ASONGPARADISE, hereafter referred to as the "LICENSOR"(“Us”), in regards to the music files hereafter referred to as the "TRACKS".
All parties are legally bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
The $295 song fee covers the following:
1. A licensing fee for the right to record the song
2. Licensing fee for use of the track in the recording
3. Instant access to the lyrics, guide vocal, and instrumental track mix of the licensed songs.
PURPOSE
ASONGPARADISE (“Licensor”) is authorized to grant certain rights in and to the sound recording ("Master") and the underlying musical composition, collectively known as "Tracks".
The Licensee (“You”) seeks to license the Songs & Tracks that are located on the ASONGPARADISE website.
GUARANTEE
ASONGPARADISE guarantees that it controls the rights to represent the original song recordings and the musical compositions in each of the TRACKS, and has and will hold throughout the TERRITORY the listed rights to exploit the TRACKS as contemplated herein.
LICENSEE shall indemnify and hold the LICENSOR harmless from any and all claims, liabilities and costs, losses, damages or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of any breach or failure of any covenants or warranties made by the LICENSEE herein.
REPRESENTED TRACKS LICENSE GRANTED
The mechanical, synchronization, and performance rights granted to the LICENSEE within the AGREEMENT include:
(1) the right to record, re-record, pitch and exploit your version of any of our songs for promotional purposes, such as through Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
(2) the right to record, re-record, pitch and exploit your version of any of our songs to release and sell through a Physical or Digital Distribution platform of your choice.
Any further uses of a commercial or non-commercial nature outside of the above permitted uses are subject to approval and licensing by the relevant copyright owners.
DISTRIBUTION LICENSE GRANTED
1. You, the Licensee, are granted the right to distribute (sell) your version of the licensed song, herein referred to as New Recorded Master, through a physical or digital distribution partner, including your website or other Third Party sales.
When you release (sell) your version of the licensed song, you are required to:

Credit the Songwriter(s), Publisher(s), and Producer, and TrackOwner of the song. The songwriter will always be automatically paid their songwriting/publishing royalties when any version of their song is used that generates songwriting revenue. This songwriting revenue is generated through syncing and licensing and does not involve you doing anything other than making sure their info is correctly provided when you use the song in a public way. ASONGPARADISE will provide you with this information. If you are missing info needed to give proper credit, you can contact support@asongparadise.com and request further info.
If Licensee (“You”) wish to re-record the song (at your own expense) as a brand new unique musical track from scratch, and not use the track provided for the song, then Licensee (“You”) become the TRACKOWNER of your own unique newly recorded musical master. However, you are still responsible in making sure the songwriter is credited and receives their proper songwriting publishing royalties from any use that generates as such.
RIGHTS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AGREEMENT
The rights granted to the LICENSEE do not permit the LICENSEE to (1) claim any ownership or authorship of the music represented under this AGREEMENT; (2) re-write the lyrics or melody of the music represented under this AGREEMENT without first gaining permission (which can be done by emailing ASONGPARADISE); (3) transfer, share or sub-lease this license agreement with any other party; (4) permit any other individual or third party the right to use the REPRESENTED TRACKS in place of the LICENSEE; (5) resell, trade, or exploit for profit the REPRESENTED TRACKS contained herein outright or as part of other music and/or audio-related collections, in part or in whole, to any other individual or party.
The LICENSOR maintains all intellectual property rights with regard to the marketing and sales of all tracks and any infringement thereof is punishable by law.
Limited Use of Tracks and Materials.
Licensee shall not use, exploit, or in any way attempt to obtain any benefit there from the Songs & Tracks except in strict accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
Territory
The territory of this contract is the world.
Reservation of Rights
As between us, ASONGPARADISE owns and retains all such rights to the Content and Services not expressly granted to you, the Licensee, in this agreement.
COPYRIGHT NOTICES
Licensee shall abide by all copyright notices, information, and restrictions applicable to any Songs & Tracks and the Materials or otherwise published by the Licensor.
